Natasha James

General Manager

Responsibility:
Supervising the overall functioning of the home

Introduction:

Hello, my name is Natasha, but I’m known as Tash. I’ve had the privilege of working at Ynysddu Nursing Home for 13 years, which has allowed me to build lasting relationships with both residents and colleagues. I deeply value the sense of continuity within the home and the company, which strengthens our team and enhances care.

I believe in fostering an inclusive environment for residents and their families. We take great pride in creating a welcoming atmosphere where everyone feels part of a larger family, ensuring that our residents receive the highest level of care and support.

Shyju Thomas

Deputy Manager

Responsibility:
Responsible for overseeing staff, ensuring care quality, and maintaining compliance.

Introduction:
Hello, my name is Shyju, but I’m known as Tom. I have had the pleasure of working at Ynysddu Nursing Home for 20 years. I truly enjoy my role here, providing care for our residents. Many of our staff members have been with Ynysddu for a long time, which creates a family-like atmosphere where we all know each other well. We take pride in building strong relationships with our residents and getting to know them, no matter how long they stay with us.

Hannah Phillips

Activity Co-ordinator

Introduction:

I’ve worked at Ynysddu Nursing Home for five years. By day, I’m a primary school teacher, and during term time, I work evenings and throughout the school holidays at Ynysddu. I love spending time with our residents, listening to their stories, making them laugh, and offering opportunities like bus trips and seaside outings that they might not have had otherwise.

I’m fortunate to combine my teaching role with my work here by involving residents in school activities. They’ve attended concerts and spent time with the children, which everyone thoroughly enjoys. Outside of work, I cherish time with my family.

Lucy Clements

Activity Co-ordinator

Introduction:

I’m an Activities Coordinator at Ynysddu Nursing Home and a busy mum of two who loves a challenge. I enjoy walking and recently reached the summit of Snowdon with my work family. I’ve been at Ynysddu for 8 years, and it’s the best job with the best team. Our residents are always our priority, and everything we do is for them, including our next challenge—Scafell Pike! I work alongside Hannah, and together, we organize trips, parties, and activities that bring smiles to our residents’ faces.
